What a day to remember! On Saturday the 19th April, Mountpottinger Methodist Church came alive with colour, song, and celebration as we hosted the MCZF-Ireland & Northern Ireland Easter Revival 2025. With over 60 Zimbabweans filling our pews and lifting their voices in worship, the church was truly buzzing with joy and unity.
Under the theme “Saved for a Purpose” (Exodus 2:10), the revival brought together believers from across the island to be refreshed, inspired, and reminded of God’s powerful calling over their lives. We were honoured to be joined by Rev. L. Molife, General Secretary of the Methodist Church in Zimbabwe, and guest preacher Rev. T. Marambi from the UK, whose messages stirred hearts and challenged us all to walk boldly in purpose. The day was graciously hosted by our very own Rev. T. Sungai, whose leadership and passion set the tone for an unforgettable time of worship and reflection.
From powerful preaching and vibrant music to heartfelt fellowship and joyful prayer, the presence of God was felt in every moment. It was a beautiful reminder of the strength of our global Methodist family and the unifying power of faith.
To everyone who travelled, served, sang, and prayed – thank you. May we all continue to walk in the truth that we are saved for a purpose.
